The ultrasound went well yesterday. Baby is doing great … it looked like he was having a party in there. The usual was done; measurements of the baby, etc. Baby now measures about 16 ½ inches and weighs about 3lbs and 14 oz. All this just by measuring the thighbone. Then we did the other kind of ultrasound … I call it the magic wand ultrasound. After about two minutes the doctor announced that my cervix looked good. I just need to take it easy, but things looked ok. I even requested the doctor to check to make sure I was having a boy. He laughed. Baby was in breach position so when you’re looking from the bottom you’ll tend to see feet, and feet we saw. He was just kicking away like he did all day. But alas, we saw no pee pee. Just feet.

Chris and I went to pick up his prescription glasses today. The glasses makes him look like he’s 20 or so. I jokingly said that he finally looks smart … hehe … he just snarled at me while his friend laughed.

Time to start dinner and I guess I should feed the kids. Have a great weekend!

My prenatal went like this … I’m already dilating and I have a very soft cervix that led to my doctor to schedule an ultrasound this Thursday. Other than that, the baby is moving well and has a healthy heartbeat. As for me, this whole diabetes thing has me confused. I can eat the same thing, let’s say for breakfast, everyday and have different readings. I can see a few points here and there in difference, but to eat the same things over and over and have my scores off by like 20mg/dl has me miffed. I see the Diabetes Specialist tomorrow and I’m trying everything I can to gain that one pound she wanted me to gain. I haven’t been feeling all that great since yesterday and it did affect what I ate, or the lack of. Thanks for all the well wishes and concern that has been expressed to me … you guys are great!

It’s that time I take a nap … I work early tonight and I’m exhausted. Until later …
