Happy Birthday to Skye as well.

Hola!

What a crappy last several days. It poured like crazy here! Luckily it didn't put a damper on the Hilo trip last week. Actually, I love this kind of weather.

So, how's everyone? We're doing great here. I'm back on the dating market and it's been kinda fun. I don't know what to think about a few of the guys though. I'll keep you posted.

Chris is now amongst the working class. He got a job as a brand rep at Hollister. Hollister is for Abercrombie and Fitch what Old Navy is for Gap ... I guess. We went shopping there this past Sunday because he needed clothes for work and he gets a pretty good discount. His bill came to $218 and with his discount paid only a hundred less that. Sianna scored a skirt as well. From what I understand, Chris gets charged mainland price then another 20% off his purchases. His first initial one pant/two shirts purchase was at 40% ... not bad. I still like American Eagle Outfitters better.

So lately I've been on this low carb thing ... South Beach to be exact ... it's been a little over 2 months and I have lost at least 12 lbs and dropped two dress sizes. Living in Hawaii and all these diverse cultures, especially the Asian culture, you gotta have your steamed white rice. It's a staple here. I've had maybe a total 1 cup cooked since I've started. No pasta, no bread, no crackers ... I don't miss it. The rice was hard, especially with Korean and Japanese foods. I miss fruits, but maybe once a week I'll have a bite or two of banana, a slice of Hosoi pear, a couple of sips of low carb OJ. I was at this BBQ several weeks ago which I made the desserts for. I figured this would be my first real free night. I had made banana cream pie, brownies and blueberry cream cheese cake. I took a small piece of brownie and a small sliver of each pie. I ate about half of what I took and I thought I was going to have a sugar overdose. Keep in mind I had a bite of potato salad and two bites of rice with dinner earlier in the night. I thought I was going to throw up. Today is another example. I went to Chili's with Queen and shared an order of the Southwestern eggrolls and had shared the molten cake for dessert. I came home an hour later only to pack my shit up and head out to the gym. I felt so sick. I've kept all the weight off and since I've added aerobic activity as well as the pilates, I can tell that I lost another inch or so around the waist.

Anyway, I am off to bed ... hope you all have a great work week!

Dear Tide,
I am writing to say what an excellent product you have! I've used it since the beginning of my married life, when my Mom told me it was the best. Now that I am older and going through menopause, I find it even better.
In fact, about a month ago, I spilled some red wine on my new white blouse. My unfeeling and uncaring husband started to berate me about how clumsy I was and generally started becoming a pain in the ass.
One thing led to another and I ended up with lots of his blood on my white blouse. I tried to get the stain out using a bargain detergent, but it just wouldn't come out. After a quick trip to the supermarket, I stopped and got a bottle of liquid Tide with bleach alternative, and to my surprise and satisfaction, all of the stains came out!
In fact, the stains came out so well, that some detectives who came by yesterday told me that the DNA tests were negative and my attorney said that I would no longer be considered a suspect.
I Thank You, once again, for having such a great product. Well gotta go. I have to write a letter to the Hefty bag people.

Signed,
A Menopausal wife

Last night was PCHS's 27th Annual Songfest.

THE JUNIOR CLASS OF 2005 ROCKED!!

It was just an awesome performance. Finally some redemption. Christopher is a happy camper. This year he was Junior Class Chairperson and all his hard work paid off with all three judges placing them in first place. As we found out later in the night, into their 2nd of three songs, one of the judges turned to his class advisor and told him they won hands down. Chris, as Songfest Chair, gets to bring the trophy home for a week.

I'm tired so I'm off to bed ... laters!
